Pete Evans is no stranger to making headlines for airing his controversial opinions on health and wellness.
And the MKR judge raised eyebrows yet again on Sunday when he took to Instagram to share an X-rated joke he'd published in response to an online critic.
A screen-grab showed the bizarre interaction between Pete and an Instagram user whose name had been blocked out.

'Always thought you were a w**ker but now you're promoting the world's most beneficial plant, I still think you're a w**ker,' the user wrote.
In response, Pete wrote: 'Nothing wrong with having a w**k mate. Comes in handy sometimes [laughing face emoji].
Pete's raunchy banter appeared to impress the user, who responded: 'You're really appearing to be less of a w**ker with everything you say [laughing face emojis].'

In the accompanying caption, Pete proceeded to boast about how many of his most vocal detractors end up eventually agreeing with his opinions.
'Everyone is entitled to their opinion as I do believe in free speech which seems to be something that certain sectors are attempting to shut down,' the Paleo diet poster-boy wrote, in part.

'This comment today did give me a good laugh though and I am glad he shared his thoughts', he later added.
Pete has been a vocal advocate for the medicinal benefits of cannabis and has long been promoting its uses via social media and TV.
Hoping to shed light on the issue, Pete produced a documentary on the use of cannabis and CBD titled, The Magic Plant.
However, cannabis advocates have voiced concerns at Pete becoming the face of the movement and claim his involvement could 'invite controversy' into the debate.
