Paul Hollywood's ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam has revealed she is planning to sue The Great British Bake Off star.

Taking to Instagram the barmaid, 24, revealed she is pursuing legal action following his claims that she was 'courting publicity' following their split last week.

Summer furious dumped Paul after he asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which would ban her from discussing their relationship.

In the post, which consisted of the text statement, Summer wrote: 'I am very disappointed and distressed by false and highly defamatory statements that Paul has made about me online since our breakup.

'I have had no alternative but to instruct my solicitors Brett Wilson LLP to pursue legal proceedings against Paul in order to obtain vindication.

'I have never courted publicity over my relationship with Paul and I am deeply disappointed that the relationship has ended in this way. I have no further comment on the matter and ask that my and my family's privacy be respected.'

It came after the barmaid was spotted  with her mum Sabina on Thursday, as they enjoyed a dog walk in Kent following their split.

Summer was dressed to impress in her country walk attire, sporting ripped jeans, a Gucci belt and a chic off-the-shoulder top.

Mum Sabina looked incredibly youthful, matching her lookalike daughter in a pair of distressed jeans and a fitted top.

Summer's outing came as ex Paul was seen calling in the locksmiths at his £1m Kent home earlier in the day.

Workers were seen changing over the keypads outside his home in Kent just a few days after their nasty split.

On Wednesday, it was revealed Paul also attempted to cancel a charity skydive that Summer and her sister, 15, were due to take part in to get back £560 he donated.

On the same day, Paul posted a serious-looking selfie on Instagram and accused Summer of trying to 'dupe' the public, trying to cash-in on their split and attempting to 'play games'.

He said: 'Thank you for your messages I've been receiving it means a lot. My silence on any matters is not a sign of weakness or agreement of what's been said, merely I prefer a quiet life away from my day job.

'Take what's read with a pinch of salt and read between the lines. I know the public can't be duped into believing what's out there from a person making money selling stories and continuously courting the paps.

He added: 'There's always two sides to a story you've only heard one.. but alas I don't play those games.'

It was reported in February that Paul had bought Summer the pet puppy in order to take the next step in their relationship.

Last Wednesday, Summer stormed out of the £1.2 million home in Kent that she shared with Paul, bringing an end to their 20-month relationship.

They were reportedly rowing over who would keep their £35 chicken named Karen in the aftermath of their bitter split, though it has since appeared that Summer has won custody of the fowl as she shared a snap with Karen and her fellow chickens, Fredrica and Ciro.

She took to Instagram earlier on Thursday to give her worried followers an update on the bird, reassuring them she was 'safe and well'.

Following their break-up, Hollywood agreed to give Summer custody of their rottweiler puppy and horses.

But he reportedly drew the line at their coop of chickens that he said must stay with him.

Extravagant purchases made by Paul for Summer include a £100,000 Range Rover SVR, a £9,000 hot tub for her birthday and a £9,000 ring, some of which the bake off star has stopped Summer from accessing since the split.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: 'Summer told him that she didn't want any of the gifts he'd given her, and that she was returning to take what was rightfully hers. That's when he lost it and started effing and blinding.'

Summer, who is 29 years younger than Paul, can talk freely about her ex after she 'flat-out' refused to sign the NDA agreement and split from the star.

The non-disclosure agreement (NDA) would reportedly have stopped Summer from discussing personal details of their relationship, including their sex lives and his wealth, with her family and friends.

Tom Amlot, a solicitor for the Paul revealed his dispute with Summer did involve a document gagging her from discussing their relationship.

He said: 'I asked Summer to sign an NDA as is standard practice in order to protect Paul's family and their private lives.

'Summer insisted that she had no intention of selling any stories to the press and declined.

'I think that her refusal to discuss or sign it caused concern, understandably, so it's not entirely surprising that they have gone their separate ways.'

Summer's latest social media update comes after Paul also accused her of selling stories to the press and hunting for fame.

The equestrian lover hit back in an Instagram post, insisting it was not her that leaked the story about the non-disclosure agreement.

She also claimed that she 'felt so betrayed by the NDA, particularly with how much pressure Paul and his lawyers put me under to sign it' that she 'confided in friends and showed them the document.'

She said she pleased that the story had been published 'to warn other women about the horrendous implications these documents have'.

Summer is back living with her mother Sabina in Ickham and earlier admitted that the split was 'one of the hardest things I have ever done' when a fan praised her 'courage to walk away' from their relationship.

She also thanked Instagram followers who said she had 'dodged a bullet' and 'should get yourself an upgrade' after dumping Hollywood, who is being divorced by his wife of 19 years Alexandra on the grounds of adultery.

Summer had been expecting a proposal following Hollywood's divorce with long-standing now ex-wife Alexandra but was instead 'heartbroken' that he had asked her to sign the document, reported The Mirror.

After Paul presented her with the document she is believed to have refused to sign it and stormed out of the luxury pad they shared.

Upon returning to collect her things from Paul's house on Friday night the pair are reported to have got into a 'petty' row with Paul telling Summer: 'Why don't you f*** off back on that horse you rode in on', according to The Sun on Sunday.

Paul first met Summer while organising a birthday party for his wife Alexandra at his local pub, the Duke William, in Ickham, Kent, where she worked.

The pair went public with their romance in the same month his split with his estranged wife was confirmed.

The couple's split comes as Paul prepares for a divorce hearing with his estranged wife who ended her 19 years of marriage with the star in 2017.

Alexandra filed for divorce on the grounds that Paul had committed adultery and last month district judge Robert Duddridge ruled that the estranged wife found it 'intolerable' to live with the chef.

Last month, a judge granted Paul and his estranged wife a decree nisi after their split. But the decree absolute to end the marriage altogether will have to await a financial settlement.

It is understood that Alex wants half of the star's cash after she accused him of 'adultery' in papers submitted to the Central Family Court in London.

A source close to the family said: 'This is more like months rather than weeks off now, Paul isn't prepared to give Alex the reasonable sum that she is entitled to at this stage.

'She had hoped it would be straightforward but it is now far from that. It's really sad that it is getting this nasty, everyone wants to move on now – nobody more than Summer.'

In 2013 during a stint on The American Baking Competition he had a fling with fellow TV chef Marcela Valladolid, but he apologised to wife Alex and they briefly reconciled.
