Besides offering style and performance modifications for exotic brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Maserati and Rolls-Royce, Novitec is also into the business of modifying Teslas.
Having already launched tuning packages for the Model S and Model X, the German company has now chosen the Model 3 as its latest project. The enhancements include naked-carbon aerodynamic components, tailor-made 21-inch forged wheels, a sports suspension and a more luxurious interior.
For the exterior, Novitec offers a front spoiler lip that attaches to the lower end of the production fascia, a rear spoiler lip and diffuser for the rear fascia, as well as rocker panels on the sides. All feature a naked-carbon look (optionally available in body color or contrasting color) matching the 21-inch Novitec NV2 wheels developed with Vossen.

The rims, shod with high-performance tires (sized 245/30 ZR 21 at the front and 295/25 ZR 21 at the rear), are tailor made for the Tesla Model 3 and feature an unusual design with five double-spokes slanted like a windmill. Customers can have them in 72 (!) different color variants and with a brushed or polished surface.
Besides their striking looks, the wheels are said to optimize ventilation and cooling of the brakes as each is manufactured for a specific corner of the vehicle so that the spokes always spin in the airstream’s aerodynamically optimal direction.
The Model 3 also benefits from tailor-made sport springs combined with production shocks that lower the ride height by about 30 millimeters (1.18 inches). For those who want a sportier suspension setup, Novitec offers an aluminum sport suspension that lowers the vehicle by up to 40 mm (1.57 inches).
In addition to improving the looks of the car, the lower ride height further reduces aerodynamic drag which translates into a reduction of power consumption by up to seven percent on long-distance routes. Aerodynamic efficiency also stands to gain from the front spoiler lip which reduces front-axle lift at high speeds as well as the rear spoiler lip and diffuser which ensure an optimal aerodynamic balance.
Finally, Novitec can overhaul the Tesla’s interior with a selection of fine leathers and Alcantara in many designs and in any color.
