Reflecting on her early career, the actress shared: 'At the beginning of my career, in my mid-twenties, everyone told me that I should expect it all to be over at 40.
'And to be honest, it was kind of looking that way. At that time, there were only a few people who seemed to scrape through and have careers beyond that.'
Naomi also looked back on how she had dealt with the rejection that came with a career in Hollywood.
She mused: 'I went through a full-blown decade living in Hollywood, of being told, ‘No, no, no.’ It was crushing. And, bit by bit, it really tore me down, to the point that I couldn’t get out of that cycle.

'There were many times where I felt like packing it all in and going home with my tail between my legs.'
Speaking about her family life, the accomplished star gushed how she and her Liev, who she split from in 2016 following an 11-year relationship, manage to work together to raise their sons.

She shared: 'We’re doing things very differently. […] I’m pretty proud of us, corny as that may sound. We’ve made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we’re absolutely committed to that.'
Naomi also discussed taking on the role of Gretchen Carlson, the Fox News presenter who, in July 2016, filed a lawsuit accusing Roger Ailes of sexual harassment, in The Loudest Voice.
'She’s a hero. She was the first, inadvertently bringing about the #MeToo movement, and she doesn’t get a huge amount of credit for that.'
Reflecting how she has been affected by the #MeToo movement, Naomi said: 'We all went through it in some way or another at the beginning of our careers, when we had no agency.'

Recalling a casting session, that took place when she was a young actress, where she was asked to remove her top, she shared: 'But I walked away going, "Was that me? Maybe I was being uptight. Maybe this is normal? Maybe this is just what I have to do."'
Touching on scooping up the Game of Thrones role, the timeless stunner revealed that she had never watched the cult fantasy series until she secured the part.
Reflecting about the epic show ramping up her public profile, she admitted: 'I still have fears about that. I don’t really know what to prepare for.'
