REVEALED: How Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic's new jobs will leave them like ships in the night as they work conflicting day and night shifts
Sylvia Jeffreys and husband Peter Stefanovic have both more than moved on from the Today show, after being axed from the program in December.
But unfortunately for the married couple, their respective new jobs on rival networks will leave them like ships in the nights, while working opposing schedules.
Whereas Peter will be waking up in the early-hours to present Sky News' morning bulletin from 5am, Sylvia doesn't go live with Nine News Watch until 8pm.

Peter, 37, landed the role on Sky News in May, as co-anchor on their First Edition from 5am until 9am alongside Laura Jayes.
He previously explained he has an alarm set for 3am each weekday, in order to travel from their home in Double Bay to the studio in Martin Place and prepare.
And with such an early wake-up call, it's likely the news anchor will be sound asleep before wife Sylvia, 33, even goes lives with her evening show.

On Monday, Sylvia's 9 News Watch premiered across Australia, a social media based show airing exclusively on Facebook Watch.
The show, roughly 15-minutes in length, goes live each evening at 8pm, with Sylvia assumed to be at Nine's studios in Willoughby hours beforehand.
Although many have seen the internet-based show as a step-down, it is already rivaling Today with almost 150,000 viewers on the first episode.
With their current schedules as they are, it is assumed the loved-up couple will struggle to squeeze in much quality time throughout the week.

Speaking of his new role in May, Peter told The Daily Telegraph: 'It is no offence to Channel 9 but this is the dream gig. This is right in my wheelhouse.
'I have had some funemployment that I've really enjoyed. I might be a little rusty but I am hungry. I can't wait to get stuck in.'
Explaining her show on Monday, Sylvia explained: 'It's arrived! 9 News Watch launches at 8pm (eastern time) today on Facebook watch.
'It's a daily news bulletin made for you. 'Like' any of our Nine News Facebook pages, to have your say, share your stories and stay up-to-date.'
