He calls his mom, Pamela Anderson, his 'best-friend' while he's continued to have a tumultuous relationship with his father, Tommy Lee.
But on the latest episode of The Hills: New Beginnings, Brandon Thomas Lee hinted to his Baywatch mom that a reconciliation was on the horizon with his dad, after revealing in a confessional that he thought he would never speak to the rocker again.
Enjoying a lunch together, the conversation arose when the 52-year-old told her 22-year-old son that he should be thinking about marriage, after he revealed he had started seeing a girl.

'Well, you're 22, you should be thinking about marriage,' she told him, confusing Brandon.
'You can fall in somebody and not get married, that can happen,' he responded, making fun of her past four failed marriages.
Pamela famously married Tommy Lee after knowing him for four days. She also married Kid Rock and Rick Salomon, twice.

'I've not gotten married a lot of times,' she responded.
But Brandon was quick to point out her failed incredibly fast marriage to his dad.
'You and dad literally got married after four days,' he told her. 'I knew him four days. He proposed to me on the first day. I played hard to get,' clarified the former Playboy model, with a cheeky smile.
As the pair continued talking with Tommy Lee now in conversation, the reality star told his mom that he had sent his dad a message on Thanksgiving. He wished him before asking if he'd be willing to leave all their drama in the past.
He wrote: 'Let's put all this s**t in the past. I don't really wanna do this anymore.'

Brandon and Tommy came to physical blows back in March 2018.
The first episode of The Hills: New Beginnings saw Brandon tell his mom that they still weren't on speaking terms.
And the news of the progress appeared to really lift Pamela's spirits, saying she was 'so happy' her eldest son had made the first move.
'Life's too short. You can't pick your parents. But he's, you know what, there's a lot of good qualities about your dad,' she said.
And while it's yet to air on the series, Brandon's message may have just worked, with the pair hugging each other in December 2018.

Brandon mentioned in a confessional that he thought that they would never speak again after the drama.
'Reaching out to my dad, I feel like I did the right thing,' he began.
'We've had our fights int he past but this one kind of got out of control and got in the public eye. For a long time, I thought my dad was gonna never have anything to do with me again.'
Pamela married the drummer back in February 1995, four days after meeting on February 16.
They wed on a beach with Pamela in a bikini and during their marriage he was arrested for spousal abuse after he assaulted his wife.
He spent six months in a Los Angeles county jail before filing for divorce in 1998.
The former couple welcomed Brandon in June 1996 and Dylan, 21, in December 1997.
Pamela also previously revealed she had contracted Hepatitis C from the musician after sharing needles. She was cured in 2015.
