As the duo tried out different brands of alcohol, Rochelle explained: 'This is one of my favourites, that's what I call dangerous because it's too easy!'

After a sip of another drink she exclaimed: 'It tastes like whiskey', and then added: 'They just said in my ear "yes Roche that's what it is!".'

Closing the segment, Rochelle revealed that the producers were once again in her ear as she told viewers: 'Always my favourite bit of Friday. They say "you still have an hour, put it down!".'

Later on, the pair turned their attentions to cookery, which saw Mollie – a self-professed bad cook - make an awkward gaffe.

The blonde radio host was instructed to put tartar sauce on cut lettuce, but she proceeded to put it into a different lettuce gem instead.

A minute later, Rochelle noticed her friend's error and asked: 'Was she supposed to put it into the lettuce salad? Did you see what she did? as the mother-of-two fell about laughing.

'Your mum is going to be watching this!' she quipped, to which Mollie responded: 'I'm sorry mum.'

The show's chef then asked Mollie to put lettuce in a hot dog bun, but kept a close eye, visibly checking on her.

Mollie insisted: 'I can do this, come on guys I can do this.'

While many viewers were delighted with Mollie and Rochelle's teamwork, others weren't convinced that the pairing worked.

'Not sure these are the best presenters - nice enough but not right for this show. Sorry!' tweeted one fan.

Someone else asked: '#thismorning is Molly just there to make up numbers she is just standing there the whole program with her mouth open letting @rochellehumes talk over her.'

'Rochelle is just constantly talking over Molly every time she speaks. Makes me feel so awkward,' agreed another viewer.

One disappointed fan asked: 'Why isn't Marvin with Rochelle? Mollie is really not working, she is like the work experience girl on their first day.'
