The truth about Abbie Chatfield: Why the curly-haired blonde is the REAL Bachelor villain as her co-stars accuse her of being 'a completely different person' away from the cameras

She has been portrayed on The Bachelor as a 'girl next door'.

But it turns out Abbie Chatfield is actually a 'sly dog' in real life, or at least that's according to her co-star Rachael Arahill.

The 23-year-old property analyst is apparently the 'real villain' of the show, despite receiving a fairly positive edit so far this season.

Rachael told NW magazine on Monday that Abbie had betrayed the other women by kissing Matt Agnew at the cocktail party, after promising she wouldn't.

'What a sly dog! Abbie really showed me her character,' said Rachael.

An unnamed source went on to claim that Abbie was 'completely different person' when the cameras stopped rolling.

According to the inside, Abbie made a point of telling all the other girls that she'd kissed Matt, 32, at the cocktail party.

'The first thing she did after the kiss was rub it into everyone's faces,' they said.

Abbie has no regrets about her behaviour, saying this week that she didn't go on The Bachelor 'to make friends'.

On Thursday's episode, Abbie left the other women fuming by going into detail about her her cocktail party rendezvous with Matt.

'We started talking then we would kiss again, then we started talking then we would kiss again!' she said, smiling wickedly.

Her rival contestants, including Elly Miles and Sogand Mohtat, were visibly furious.

Lingerie designer Monique Morley was also annoyed, and it's believed she will have a confrontation with Abbie on Wednesday's episode.

As the series continues, Sportsbet odds place Chelsie McLeod, Elly Miles and Abbie Chatfield as the three top 'favourites' to win the show.
