The 2019 Teen Choice Awards were held on the beaches of Hermosa Beach, California on Sunday.
The awards, which were hosted by Lucy Hale and YouTuber David Dobrik, brought out the hottest acts of TV, movies, music and more.
During the shoreside ceremony Taylor Swift made history as the winner of the first ever Teen Choice Icon Award.

The fun started when BH 902010 creators/stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling introduced US Women's soccer star Alex Morgan, who had the honor of welcoming Icon Award winner Swift to the stage.
Before Taylor's time in the spotlight, famous friends like Haley Kiyoko, Ed Sheeran, HAIM, Wiz Khalifa, Troye Sivan, and Jameela Jamil sang her praises in a video tribute.
Swift, who has won more Teen Choice Awards than any other artist in history, then sauntered onto the stage to accept the inaugural Icon honor.
'We have a lot tot talk about,' Taylor said while clutching onto her custom surfboard award which was emblazoned with her three cats, Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin.

She then sent love to her fans telling them: 'You make so so happy. You make me laugh everyday. I love meeting you, You're just the most amazing generous people. Thank you for giving my the life I have.'

The former Community actor used his time to send an important message about diversity in storytelling, telling the crowd: 'I've been very fortunate to be part of a lot of movies in my career but Crazy Rich Asians is the most important... because representation matters.
He continued, saying: 'Diversity is what makes America great. It is important for us to see people that look like us on screen and as [Crazy Rich Asians] director Jon M. Chu says "It's not a movie, it's a movement."'

Taking the stage, the up-and-coming hunk shared a humble off-the-cuff message.

'I just love you guys and you just can't let anyone tell you you can't do something. You can not. If I'm from South Florida and made it here, you can too.'

Next, singer Charlie Puth jumped on stage to give out the award for Choice Male Artist, which went to his pal Shawn Mendes.
Since the Canadian star was on tour and unable to make it to the awards, he accepted the honor via a gracious video message.
Sending his love to the fans that voted for him, the If I Can't Have You singer said: 'I'm on tour right now and I'm so sad I can't be with you all but I just want to say Hi, Thank you and I love you. Three Teen Choice Awards, thank you so so much.'
