Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn has $120,000 worth of jewellery stolen after a break-in at her Beverly Hills home... and reveals the culprit is 'someone who knows her'

Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn has had $120,000 worth of jewellery stolen from her Beverley Hills home.

The reality star - who rose to fame earlier this year on Netflix's hit real estate reality show, created by The Hills mastermind Adam DiVello - was the victim of a break-in while she was on holiday.

Christine revealed the culprit is someone 'who knew me and found the keys', but she hasn't been able to identify them due to a security camera regulation issue.

TMZ reported that she returned to her home a few days ago to find her entire jewellery collection had been taken from her safe.

The LAPD are now investigating, but there are no leads so far as there was no sign of forced entry and only her housekeeper had access to the keys.

She was on a month-long, around the world trip at the time, visiting the likes of Bali, Italy, Greece and France.

Christine took to Twitter to clarify the situation, thanking fans of the show for their kind words and messages of support.

She revealed she had suffered an unfortunate security camera mishap because the footage was only stored for 10 days and she wasn't at home for four weeks.

The TV personality said: 'It was someone who knew me and found the keys. And YES I have cameras in every room in my house including my closet.

'The Nest subscription goes back only 10 days and I was out of the country for over a month. -NO! these items were not insured because I was a trusting idiot.'

Christine emerged as the antagonist to newcomer Chrishell Hartley (wife of This Is Us actor Justin Hartley), who struggled to fit into the cut-throat real estate world.

The agents were all battling it out to sell the $40million dollar listing - a 20,000 square-foot home with a panoramic view of LA, which would earn them the coveted $1.2 million commission.

Following on from the success of the first series, the cast - who also include Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae Young, Maya Vander and Davina Portratz - have been crossing their fingers for another season.

'Everyone watch because we’re still waiting to hear from Netflix if we get the go on season two But it looks like it’s going really well', Chrishell recently said.
