'She has lovely lips and a nice little chin!' Tom Burgess announces the arrival of his first daughter with girlfriend Tahlia Giumelli
NRL star Tom Burgess and his girlfriend Tahlia Giumelli have announced the arrival of their first child, a daughter named Sophie Heather.
The besotted parents welcomed their bundle of joy into the world on Saturday morning, a week before her due date, at Sydney's ’s Royal Hospital for Women.
'She has lovely lips and a nice little chin. This just doesn’t feel real yet to be honest,' 27-year-old Tom told The Daily Telegraph on Sunday.

'She has brown hair, I think she will have blue eyes and she has lots of fat rolls after weighing in at 4.03 kilos,' Tahlia said, adding: 'She wasn’t even full-term. These Burgess babies aren’t small.'
The publication also revealed that Tahlia's 15-hour labour was complicated due to Sophie's shoulders getting stuck.
Sophie Heather is one of seven children belonging to the famous Burgess brothers, with Tom's twin George welcoming his third child with wife Joanna just last week.

Tom announced the news of Tahlia's pregnancy back in February via Instagram, by sharing a photo of the excited pair holding onto an ultrasound.
'10 fingers and 10 toes was all we wanted to hear! Great job cooking the little one T, all sound as a pound. Exciting times ahead,' he captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Tahlia kept fans updated on her pregnancy journey by sharing pictures along the way.

At 34 weeks. the mother-to-be posted a photo displaying her large baby bump while wearing a figure-hugging dress.
'34 weeks down 6 weeks to go. But feel free to come earlier if you like. I mean no pressure or anything haha but my back is killing me,' she wrote.
'Your foot doesn’t feel tiny at all when it’s kicking my ribs. Must be some sort of athlete after her dad with the kicks and punches she has on her,' she added.
