Love Island's spin-off show starring winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea has been cancelled amid fears they would split up before it airs.
Winter Love Island has become the main focus for TV bosses but it has been claimed producers will keep a close eye on couples with potential for a reality show.
ITV bosses reportedly didn't want to take any chances because it had been a 'choppy year for couples' as they feared another 'publicity disaster', according to The Sun.

A TV source told the newspaper: 'It’s been a publicity disaster in previous years, when couples split before their show aired or appeared to get back together just as the programmes came out.
'This year bosses want to take the heat off the contestants’ relationships, especially as it’s been such a choppy year for couples making a go of it.
'Instead they are focusing on Winter Love Island and want to nail the casting for that series. Of course, they’re keeping a close eye on their couples to spot any potential for spin-off shows, but at the moment it’s certainly not looking likely.'

Last year's winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer were on the rocks when their mini ITV2 series Jack & Dani: Life After Love Island was shown on air.
Now the couple have split indefinitely with Dani returning to the arms of her ex Sammy Kimmence while Jack has started his Celebs Go Dating journey.
Finalists Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood, who came third place in the 2017 series, ended their romance in the third part of their series Chris & Olivia: Crackin' On.

Amber, 22, and Greg, 24, have been going steady since they left the Mallorcan villa last week, so much so the Newcastle beauty suggested she could move to Ireland.
The 2019 winners triumphed over Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, despite the latter being a couple for 54 days in the villa.
They have equally divided the £50,000 prize fund while they now navigate their lives as the hottest reality stars on the London scene.
