Love Island's Curtis Pritchard is awkwardly blanked by her friends and family when he and Maura Higgins burst into Irish pub
It's fair to say that Maura Higgins's mother didn't exactly come across as Curtis Pritchard's number one fan when she met him in the villa.
And the dancer appears to have been awkwardly blanked by Maura's friends and family when they burst into an Irish pub together to rapturous applause.
While the video was only a snippet of the day and no doubt Curtis, 23, got to mingle with the group later on, he stood awkwardly in the doorway upon arrival.
Ouch! Love Island's Curtis Pritchard was awkwardly blanked by her friends and family when he and Maura Higgins burst into an Irish pub according to a video posted on Instagram on Friday
The crowd went wild for Maura, 28, with confetti going off as she walked in and a little girl ran into her arms, much to her delight.
The video was posted to Maura's friend's Instagram story and she looked beautiful wearing a blue denim mini dress.
Letting her take all the glory, Curtis stood behind her in the doorway, but no one rushed over to him.
Maura and Curtis came in fourth place at the Love Island final on Monday, with Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea being named winners.
Love Island viewers were convinced that Maura's mother did not think she and Curtis were a good match on the show, even though she was very polite.
She walked past Curtis at first to embrace Ovie Soko, telling him: 'This is the man I want to see.'
And when she asked her what she thought of her man, she simply said: 'He's nice. I'm trusting your judgement. And I know you're not a bad judge of character.
'If you're happy, then I am happy.'
It emerged on the show that Curtis had slid into Maura's DMs before meeting her on the show after seeing her profile.
Low down: Maura is delighted to see her 'mammy' and her boyfriend enter the villa, and she soon gets the low down on what they think of her new man
