Lamar Odom issued a rebuttal on Saturday, after he appeared to have dissed ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
The former NBA star, 39, hit back at critics after their took offence at a post on Friday which made him Instagram official with new girlfriend Sabrina Parr, 32.
'I'm a bit disappointed to read that people are using my words to enforce their own perceptions and assumptions pointing towards things that are not MY TRUTH OR REALITY,' Odom wrote on his Instagram stories.
'This post isn't against anyone including my ex wife that I still respect deeply,' he wrote on Saturday

'This post isn't against anyone including my ex wife that I still respect deeply,' he added.
His original post was a sizzling picture of his personal trainer girlfriend, captioned with a quote from Malcolm X.
'It’s just like when you’ve got some coffee that’s too black, which means it’s too strong, what do you do? You integrate it with cream… But if you pour too much cream in it, you won’t even know you ever had coffee. It used to be hot, it becomes cool. It used to be strong, it becomes weak It used to wake you up, now it puts you to sleep,' he captioned.

Alongside the quote, he also added the hashtag 'Black Royalty,' which Parr, who is also a health and life coach, used on Saturday to caption a photo of Odom.
However, Odom was attacked by trolls who claimed his post was a diss to his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
'I am REALLY DISAPPOINTED in you Lamar, you go from talking about love and good vibes to throw shade towards the woman who saved your life????' one person wrote and another added, 'We are all individual Khloe has her beauty and she may have hers so stop comparing. I am a black woman but I choose Khloe period.'

A few hours later, however, Odom clapped back with another photo of Parr and the comment that his previous post was to praise his new relationship, and was just pro-love and not anti Khloe.
He concluded his rebuttal: 'I am just PRO love. Can I do that without people feeling offended? Why does that make you mad? Our black women have been held down for centuries! I am now deciding to send them and my NEW WOMAN a lot of love.'
The Lakers alum concluded his post by gushing over Parr.
'My post goes out to the new leading woman in my life, that I'm gonna tell everyday how beautiful she is, from the inside out. Thanks @getuptoparr for teaching me what real self value means. It changed my entire mindset.'
The basketball star went public with Sabrina after being spotted out and about together in Los Angeles and Atlanta.

Khloe Kardashian seemed to post in support of the new couple on Friday.
'Can't flex on me if I'm happy for you. Be great lol,' one of the text posts said that many pointed to as a sign of her being happy her ex has moved on.
Lamar is currently working on his upcoming documentary Reborn.
According to the website for the documentary, the film 'follows Lamar down a path to recovery.
'Patterns of addiction after years of trauma and the untimely death of his son led to an overdose that nearly ended Lamar’s life.

'Odom was comatose for several days, suffering 12 strokes and six heart attacks before getting back on his feet. Lamar has been called a “walking miracle” by his doctors.
'The film highlights Lamar’s journey as he incorporates ketamine, plant medicine, and daily practice into his life to overcome addiction, anxiety, and past trauma.
And Lamar detailed the harrowing experience in his moving and inspirational memoir Darkness To Light which came out on May 28.
'I had twelve seizures and six strokes. My lungs collapsed and my kidneys ruptured. I was on life support. Everyone I'd ever loved was looking at me through bleary eyes.'
And the athlete spoke to Hollyscoop in June about the care Khloe gave him after the terrible ordeal.
'I had an Armenian angel, I had a great wife and hadn’t treated her well.'
Lamar and Khloe married in September 2009, a month after they first met. She filed for divorce in December 2013.
They delayed the final paperwork until he was recovered from being found unconscious in a brothel in Las Vegas in 2015 and finally divorced in 2016.
Khloe now shares daughter True with Tristan Thompson, who infamously cheated on her with numerous women including her (now former) friend Jordyn Woods.
