'He's rotten to the core!' Kyle Sandilands reignites his feud with David Campbell and claims Sonia Kruger would be better off hosting Today Extra without him
They've been locked in a long-running feud for years.
And Kyle Sandilands made his dislike for rival David Campbell crystal clear once again when he took several swipes at the Today Extra host on Monday's KIIS FM radio show.
Speaking to Karl Stefanovic, Kyle gave his theory on why Richard Wilkins was asked to join Today Extra after being axed from Today.
'[Richard was only hired] to try and pump the ratings up to try and hide the fact they've got that rotten thing David Campbell after the show. Rotten to the core,' Kyle ranted.
'I love Sonia [Kruger] and she should be doing that show by herself,' the shock jock said of David's TV co-host.
'She doesn't need some sort of noose around her neck like Campbell there dragging her down like an anchor!' he added.

Clearly uncomfortable with Kyle's brazen words, Karl carefully interjected: 'He's a beautiful guy. Soft and gentle.
'Terrified!' Kyle roared, 'Runs away as soon as he sees me. Runs, like Usain Bolt!'
Kyle and David's explosive feud is well documented.

Speaking to news.com.au in November 2017, Kyle said he considered David a friend until he 'jumped on the bandwagon' and turned on the shock jock.
'That c**k breath, I can’t stand him,' Kyle said.
The radio star said the friendship soured when David criticised him in the media.
'As soon as he had a chance to have a little whinge during one of my many f**k-ups of life, he was one of the ones to first sink the boot in as many people did,' Kyle said.
He added: 'And I thought, f**k you, dog! I’ve done the right thing by you the whole time and he just jumped on the bandwagon. He’s just a peasant. Now he’s no friend of mine.'
