A desperate search is underway to retrieve a $10,000 KIIS FM studio sign, which was allegedly stolen from the back of a van by an unidentified man in Potts Point, Sydney.
Radio host Kyle Sandilands is furious about the theft of the neon sign, which usually takes pride of place in the booth behind newsreader Brooklyn Ross.
'There's been a massive theft here, now you guys might not even care, but I care greatly,' he said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday.

He added: 'Normally, behind Brooklyn, behind another pain of glass, there's a giant KIIS neon sign. Stolen! Gone!'
Kyle reported the incident to NSW Police.
The alleged theft happened on Tuesday night, as the top-rating radio station was hosting its Bachelor Premiere party in Potts Point.

Security footage captured of the incident shows an unidentified man picking up the large sign off the street at Earl Place, just around the corner from Sydney's seedy Kings Cross.
The black-clad person of interest places the sign over his shoulder and casually carries it away.
The sign, which was used as a prop at the party, had been placed in the street to be loaded into the back of a KIIS van.

KIIS FM events director Leilani Vakaahi took responsibility for the theft, telling Kyle and Jackie O on air on Thursday: 'I'm going to take responsibility for this, we didn't notice that the sign was missing for around about an hour.
'We actually took it downstairs to the basement in the loading zone when the premiere screening started and then when we went to go and pack it up an hour later it was gone.'
Kyle has urged people with any information about the alleged theft to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
