(CNN)The calls had been speedily and frantic as gunshots echoed within the background. "Precedence -- photos fired! Shots fired!" a suppose said, getting louder with every declaration.

Diversified voices followed, at instances talking over one one more. One repeated the handle the build gunfire broke out -- repeatedly.
Police scanner captured the chaotic first fast time when gunfire erupted while officers had been serving a narcotics warrant at a row home in North Philadelphia. On scanner site visitors, a flurry of grim bulletins came from unidentified officers and dispatch.
"Officer down!" one suppose said.
"We need SWAT!" one other particular person yelled.
"Glean me SWAT, ASAP! Long weapons, ASAP!" one loudly interrupted.
Others implored sooner action, the urgency evident in their words.
"That is the 2nd call ... photos fired at police!" one said.
"I've bought an officer shot, radio!" one suppose said, at instances cracking. "Radio, hear. I've bought one officer shot, one officer shot, radio!"
The gunman injured six officers after he opened fireplace Wednesday afternoon in a standoff that lasted nearly eight hours. Philadelphia Police Sgt. Eric Gripp launched his arrest early Thursday, ending a chaotic and anxious day that left a neighborhood on edge.
