Emma Bunton tucks into a French fancy while wearing a VERY saucy pink Marie Antoinette-style gown

She's back to work on America's version of The Great British Bake Off after selling out stadiums around the UK for the highly-anticipated Spice Girls comeback tour this summer.

And Emma Bunton was sure to relish the delights of working on a show all about cakes on Wednesday.

The singer, 43, posted a snap to Instagram in which she sat on a set of regal stone steps in the sunshine, wearing a pink gown in the elaborate style of Queen of France Marie Antoinette.

Sitting legs akimbo with her petticoats strategically placed, the blonde presenter bit into a French fancy with glee.

She added black military boots to the ensemble for added edge, her loose blonde locks tumbling dramatically around her shoulders.

The Great American Baking Show is about to enter its fifth season in the US, and for the first time since season two all hosts and judges from the previous series are returning.

But if rumours prove correct, Emma will be back on Spice Girl-related projects next year.

After the success of the UK tour, the girls have expressed an interest in venturing internationally due to popular demand, with Mel B setting her sights on Glastobury's Pyramid stage.

What's more, Scary Spice is said to be 'in the process of persuading' Victoria Beckham to join in this time, after she sat out the 2019 reunion shows.

Mel said: 'I’m in the process of persuading Victoria to do it. And I will make it happen.'

Speaking to the Mail On Sunday's Event magazine, the mum-of-three, 44, said: 'Victoria is Victoria. She didn’t want to do it. She missed out. But my plan is for all five of us to do Glastonbury next year for the 50th anniversary.

'I’m in the process of persuading Victoria to do it. And I will make it happen.’

Mel reunited with her band mates Geri Horner, Melanie Chisholm and Emma for a 13-day UK reunion tour this summer to critical success.

There has even been talk of a fourth Spice Girls album materialising at some point.

Mel said of the band: 'We have all grown up. Geri and I were always the loud, bossy ones, Mel C and Emma were much quieter, but we’ve all changed. Mel C is so much more chilled and sorted and knows exactly what she wants, as is Emma.

'Geri is different. She's married, she’s got kids, she’s not the same outrageous Ginger she used to be. That took a bit of getting used to for me. I’ve changed. I’ve been through ten years of a deeply abusive marriage.

'I’ve lived a lie for a decade and I’ve come out of it wanting to be so honest and so up front about everything.'

The group played in Dublin, Cardiff, Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London this summer, and have previously spoken about remaining in close contact with one another after their tour wrapped.

Speaking on Zoe Ball's Breakfast Show last month Mel said: 'We're calling and texting each other like crazy, we miss each other.'
