Celebs Go Dating EXCLUSIVE: Lauren Goodger grilled during VERY awkward chat as she admits she wants to get married in first look at new series

Lauren Goodger is making her grand return to our TV screens on Monday night's debut installment of the new Celebs Go Dating series.

The former TOWIE star is thrown in at the deep end during the very first mixer, making an awkward situation even more embarrassing when she comes face-to-face with a very inquisitive prospective suitor.

In a first look clip, the brunette beauty, 32, ends up putting the cringe-inducing conversation to an end by walking off.

Lauren is first grilled about her geography as her Skipton-based suitor asks whether she's ever been to Yorkshire and what the northernmost point she's visited in the UK is.

'Scotland', the very bronzed star reluctantly offers up.

Keen to show she's not interested, Lauren tosses her hair and declares: 'I'm more attracted to guys that can actually have a laugh'.

'Say something funny then', he retorts, leaving her flummoxed. 'I don't need to', she stammers.

Highly persistent, her aspiring date resumes his line of questioning, asking the TV star what she's looking for.

'I want to be happy, settle down, get married...', she mutters.

'I can't deal with the questions, don't put me on the spot!', she says before strutting off.

Speaking to the cameras, Lauren laments her unlucky start to the Celebs Go Dating process.

'What is with this guy and all the questions? My key is going nowhere near his lock!', she says.

Hopeless romantic Lauren has been unlucky in love over the years, even though all she wants is to settle down.

The outspoken brunette was an original TOWIE cast member when the show kicked off in 2010 with one of the central storylines following her ex Mark Wright's exploits with other women.

Childhood sweethearts Lauren and Mark became engaged on the show and were a couple for 11 years before their bitter break-up.

She then struck up a romance with Jake Mclean, but their 'toxic' love story was plagued with 'silly spats' and they called it quits for good in 2016.

Lauren went on to date convicted criminal Joey Morrisson, who was serving a 16 year sentence for possession of a firearm, kidnap, blackmail and actual bodily harm.

The former CBB star was left heartbroken when her two-and-a-half year romance with Joey came to an end in July, despite waiting for her love while he was behind bars.

Following a two-year absence from reality TV, Lauren is back with a bang on the new series, which kicks off this Monday night.
