Cardi B fights to keep deposition private amid legal battle with ex manager... as she shows off extreme talons after spa visit
Cardi B distracted herself from her legal woes with a trip to the nail salon on Thursday.
The rapper showed off some extremely long nails after a manicure, throwing her hands up for the camera in an Instagram video she posted crediting her nail technician.
It came as it was reported that Cardi, 26, is desperate to keep the details of a new court case under wraps in her latest legal battle with her ex manager Shaft.

The star counter-sued her former manager last year after claiming he was controlling of both her finances and personal life, including her relationship with future husband Offset.
Shaft initially sued her claiming he has been shut out of her life after being responsible for her meteoric rise to success from Instagram wannabe to international star.
Cardi is required to sit for a deposition later this month and she is concerned that it will make her vulnerable to media scrutiny.
According to TMZ, the I Like It hitmaker's team is concerned that if the video and transcripts of her deposition get out to the public it could harm her case and expose private details about her life.

They are also worried that the video will become internet fodder for memes and editing into 'out-of-context clips and GIFs'.
The Bodak Yellow performer - who countersued for $15 million - said that Shaft exploited her on the numbers end of the business, as he sought to take not only a 20 percent commission, but asked for half of the proceeds she earned off of her Sony publishing contract.
Shaft sued Cardi - real name Belcalis Almanzar - in April 2018 for $10 million saying he played an integral role in developing her music career and public image.
His rep said at the time: 'While he is proud of their successful collaborations as she evolved from Instagram influencer to music megastar, Shaft is disappointed by her actions to freeze him out of her career, which are detailed in the complaint.'

Shaft said that he provided Cardi B with the professional connections that paved her way onto VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York, and linked her with talented music producers and publishers.
He claims he put Cardi in contact with a personal team of writers and producers responsible for her first massive hit Bodak Yellow.
The lawsuit came after Cardi retained new management in the form of Quality Control's Solid Foundation, ran by industry professionals Kevin Lee and Pierre Thomas. Shaft named both men in the suit, in addition to Patience Foster, Cardi B's publicist/stylist.

Shaft filed a lawsuit April 26 against the musical artist, saying he felt 'Offset is responsible for steering Cardi B to QC to be managed by Thomas and Lee in all of her entertainment endeavors,' according to Variety.
In one instance, he said Offset contacted him late last year, saying he was a 'snake' who had taken more than his fair share of Cardi's earnings.
A judge has yet to rule on Cardi's request for privacy.
