Following months of speculation, Bugatti has released a new teaser video that previews their “next great project.”
Set to be unveiled on August 16th at The Quail – A Motorsports Gathering, the car is apparently called the EB 110 Hommage.
Bugatti didn’t say much about the model, but the teaser video shows the car is heavily influenced by the EB 110 as it adopts a retro-inspired front fascia with a smaller horseshoe grille. Additional details are hard to make out, but a previous glimpse of the car showed it will have a rakish windscreen, a compact greenhouse and a low roof. The model is also slated to have slab-sided bodywork that recalls the original EB 110.

While Bugatti is keeping details under wraps, the video suggests the limited edition supercar will be a 110% Legend, a 110% Passion and a 110% Excellence. Bugatti’s head of communications, Tim Bravo, also said the company is “very excited about this new world premiere” and is looking forward to its debut on Friday.
That isn’t much to go on, but previous reports have suggested the model will draw inspiration from the EB 110 SS and be limited to 10 units. The car is also rumored to cost around $8.9 (£7.4 / €8) million.
Since the car will likely be based on the Chiron, it should have a quad turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine that produces at least 1,479 hp (1,103 kW / 1,500 PS) and 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque. This enables the standard model to rocket from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 261 mph (420 km/h).
