Blinded by the Light, namesake of the Springsteen song, follows a British Pakistani teen in the 80's who is an aspiring writer and finds parallels to his life in the rock legend's songs.
It makes connections from the young man's experience as the child of immigrants during a politically tumultuous time that saw increasing white nationalist sentiments.
With song lyrics projected onto the background of scenes, Springsteen's classic hits serve as a soundtrack for the character's lives.
