Anna Camp is focusing on herself after her divorce from Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin: 'I feel more me than I ever, ever have'
Anna Camp is busy promoting her upcoming series Perfect Harmony, shortly after filing for divorce from husband Skylar Astin.
She stars in the NBC comedy as Ginny, a choirmaster at a small-town church who receives help from an unexpected visitor.
Camp recently opened up finding herself amid her divorce from Astin, whom she married in 2016.

She told Us Weekly: 'I think only recently, am I now actually finding me as Anna, which has been really exciting in my life. It’s kind of a wonderful time to be playing this role at the same time.'
Her role in Perfect Harmony is also that of a recent divorcée, who happens to be in the same choir as her ex-husband.
She added: 'It’s been really scary and liberating at the same time. I’m 36 years old, I’ve had some life changes go on.
'And I feel more me than I ever, ever have. So, it’s a vulnerable place to be, but it’s also very empowering.'

Camp and Astin announced that they filed for divorce in April as they listed their Los Angeles home.
They said in a joint statement to Us Weekly: 'We can confirm that we have decided to separate, and this decision was made mutually and amicably.'

Camp and Astin began dating in 2013, shortly after starring together in the a cappella comedy Pitch Perfect.
Astin starred as Anna Kendrick's romantic interest, while Camp played her show choir frenemy.
Before Astin, Camp was married to Scrubs actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013.
