Amanda Holden has reportedly become the highest-paid female TV star in the UK, beating out stars such as daytime darling Holly Willoughby.

A source told The Sun that the Britain's Got Talent judge, 48, has earned a staggering £5 million this year from a string of six-figure deals, including her job as a DJ on the Heart Radio Breakfast Show.

Amanda has also cashed in thanks to various ranges for Marks and Spencer's and QVC Interior, and also owns two properties with husband Chris Hughes.

The source said: 'Amanda's earning potential has gone through the roof the last few years. She's raking it in from various angles and is sitting very pretty right now.

'Amanda has now overtaken other female TV stars including Holly Willoughby and the likes of Claudia Winkleman.

'She's hot property and ITV's golden girl.'

A representative for Amanda Holden declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.

It was reported that Amanda has earned her millions through various TV deals, including around £1 million as a judge for Britain's Got Talent.

The mother-of-two has been a regular on the panel since the show's inception in 2007, and will also join Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon for the upcoming BGT: The Champions later this month.

Amanda is also reportedly earning £1.5 million for her job as a Heart Radio DJ making her a higher-paid radio star than BBC favourite Zoe Ball.

Last month it was also reported that Amanda had signed a £1 million record deal with Virgin EMI after a hefty bidding war.

The much-loved also has a £500,000 deal with Fenn Wright Mason, alongside ranges with Marks and Spencer and QVC for a similar figure.

Amanda also owns two properties with husband Chris - a lavish family house in Surrey and a country home in the Cotswolds. 

The couple are parents to daughters Alexa, 13, and Hollie, seven.

Holly was previously thought to be earning around £5 million last year, with around £2.5 million coming from her work as a presenter for This Morning and Dancing On Ice, and around £2 million as the face of Marks And Spencer's.

The daytime favourite also reportedly earned a six figure pay day after standing in for Ant McPartlin as the host of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

It was also reported by The Mail On Sunday in November that Holly was negotiating a new golden handcuffs deal with ITV.
