The overhead shot offered her 15.3 million followers a glimpse at the artful contrast between her colorful bangs and the dark rest of her hair.
Her leggy picture was part of an album that also included a car selfie, which gave a closer look at the new hairdo.
Halsey, who became a star after featuring on Closer by The Chainsmokers, had all dark hair in an Instagram photo she had uploaded only one day prior.
The bisexual songstress is currently said to be dating Yungblud, a Yorkshire-born singer whose Christian name is Dominic Harrison.

Halsey's new hair adventures come after she created a stir for putting her unshaven armpits on display for the cover of Rolling Stone's Hot Issue, on newsstands July 2.
