Toddlers often suck their toes – or anything else they can get their little hands on – when they’re teething.
But Armie Hammer was somewhat surprised when his son Ford, two, started sucking HIS toes instead of his own.
And he sent the Twitterverse into a frenzy when he posted the cute video on his Instagram Stories on Saturday.

There’s a surprise: The smiling 32-year-old actor captioned the video, ‘This happened for a solid 7 minutes’ adding the hashtag ‘footfetishonfleek’

The footage was likely taken by his wife of nine years, Elizabeh Chambers, 36, who obviously didn’t have a problem with it.
But many others did, and were so vociferous with their objections that Armie took the video down.
‘When I saw Armie Hammer is trending, I was worried it might be because he put his foot in his mouth, and, well, I was close,’ one social media user quipped.
Another added: ‘Armie Hammer not only let his son suck on his toes, but he also took a video of it AND posted it on Instagram…?’
Others came to his defense.

One follower commented: ‘Babies chew on weird stuff all the time (or at least teething).’ However he called out the ‘fetish’ hashtag Armie had added.
Another supporter said: ‘That Armie Hammer video is not the best thing but it’s not even that bad. This wasn’t even in a sexual way. Kids do these things all the time like when they suck on the pacifier is it sexual??’
Armie’s wife Elizabeth responded to the backlash, commenting on a blog post by Perez Hilton which asked his followers if it was funny or inappropriate.
‘It wasn’t seven minutes… more like five seconds,’ she wrote and also explained that it was a phase her son was going through and had become a family joke.
