The trial will reportedly take place over five days at The Victorian County Court.

A source close to Fryers reportedly told the paper: 'She is just wanting to put this behind her.'

Fryers filed a writ in July 2018, and is claiming more than $200,000 in unpaid commissions from Jacobson's television ads, stage shows and TV programs.

In August last year, Jacobson told the Sydney Morning Herald that the turn of events have been 'disappointing'.

'It was very disappointing and heartbreaking because I'd been working with Deb for a long time. We were very close,' he said.

Jacobson also maintained that he does not owe any money to Fryers.

'She has absolutely been paid every commission to do with every job that she was involved in. She's after all my current projects.'

In Jacobson's 2013 autobiography, The Long Road to Overnight Success, the star had nothing but positive things to say about his former manager.

'The time has come to say that Deb is always there,' he penned.

'So many of the awards I've won and the praise that I get deserve to go to her because she always makes sure I'm in the right place at the right time for the right reason.'
